There are definitely a few things to do this Saturday, but the Jingle Bell Rock party hosted by Audio Blood and Third Estate is going to be the indie-rock choice for the night. The Balconies, Clothes Make The Man (who opened for Hey Rosetta! earlier this year), Make Your Exit, and Oh No Forest Fires will all be gracing the stage at the Horseshoe Tavern. I know you want to be there, but even more so, I know you like stuff. Here's a contest that combines the greatness of stuff with the brilliance of getting to be there. Enter the contest and here's what you could win: Two tickets to the Jingle Bell Rock party at the Horseshoe Tavern, this Saturday December 12th. Four CDs! One from each band playing. Basically a small collection of music to play to your grandparents during the holidays. Some sort of mini screen-printed poster. A perfect gift to wrap up and give to yourself. An Exclaim! t-shirt (courtesy of Third Estate) that will give you all sorts of indie cred. Contest closes Thursday, December 10th at 11:00 PM and the winner will be sent an email on Friday December 11th with details. Must be 19+ and available to attend on the night of the show.
